What is Wool Month?
Carrying on from the success of extending Wool Week to a month for the last two years, this year we will again be celebrating all things wool from the 3rd to the 30th of October. Continuing from the Campaign for Wool’s film Why Wool Matters released back in April, Wool Month aims to highlight through events, communications and social media, wool’s natural performance attributes and asking consumers to #ChooseWool.
Autumn, the cooler months, and especially the month of October is ideal to raise awareness about wool and remind consumers of the reasons to purchase wool items and highlight both continuing, and new brands which offer unique and exciting products with British wool.
Some of the campaigns and events include:
Menopause, Sleep & Wellness - Ahead of Wool Month and Menopause month, at the end of September, Woolroom hosted an open discussion with TV Presenter Louise Minchin on all things sleep and menopause.
