Chairman's Welcome To Graze - August

Welcome to the August edition of Graze.  I hope the shearing and harvest seasons are going well on farm for you all.  The recent dry weather has made shearing easier however it is now a major concern with many regions desperate for rain. It is also nice to see the show’s happening again, great to catch up with old friends and new, and explain about the exciting things that are happening at British Wool.

Within this latest edition of Graze we have information on how the auction system is working on adding value to our members’ wool and on the first sale of the 2022 selling season which took place recently.

We also have details of three shearing records taking place this month - British Wool are delighted to be supporting the shearers in achieving their goals and wish them the best of luck with their record attempts.

There’s also an opportunity to learn more about part of our strategy of targeting consumers showcasing a number of our brand partners’ products and also selling a limited range of products on the stand at The Great Yorkshire Show.
