In the mid-90s, Miroglio, a leader of the international textile market, made their first investment in Bulgaria, concentrating on the reduction of production costs as well as on the strategical closeness to all European markets and easy availability of technical and technological support.

Since 2006 the company was expanded and completely renewed, starting with the purchase of the historical textile factory of Slitex. It was this investment that gave the company the opportunity of positioning itself at the top of the market for worsted and woollen knitting yarns.

At the present time, the company regularly produces British wool yarns, spun dyed from a variety of wool grades ranging from 32.5-35.5 μm, with the staple lengths ranging from 5cm to 10cm.
